Their signature four-part harmony blend shines brighter than ever on this collection of contemporary and traditional Christmas songs. Mulberry Lane, who have sold over 500,000 CD's, grew up singing an accapella, four-part harmony, hour-long Christmas concert every year before their church's midnight service, to standing room only crowds. Recording a Christmas CD was always a goal for the sisters. Contrary to some Christmas CDs which are quickly recorded, this project was a year and a half in the making, not to mention the years of sculpting arrangements. A few highlights of the this, their fifth CD include: a re-interpreted rockin' up-tempo version of “Little Saint Nick" produced by number one hit producers Brad Young and Dow Brain; an original 4-part harmony arrangement of “Christmas Time is Here”; a remake of “Jing-A-Ling” with "Jingle Bells" pays tribute to another sister group, the Andrews Sisters; and a live acapella version of Mulberry Lane 's “fan-favorite” medley of “Coventry Carol,” “Silent Night,” and “O Holy Night.” The CD also features brilliant guitar work by Ron Cooley (of Mannheim Steamroller fame) on eight of the tracks including “Ave Maria,” and acclaimed vibraphonist Steve Raybine on "Carol of the Bells."
